Optionally, in the same panel, you may click Close Holes to cap open holes. In Tools > Geometry > Modify Topology, click Del Hidden. Before releasing the left mouse button, or before lifting the stylus pen, press ALT. Practice on a model or tool of no importance first til you SEE how it works. Delete Hidden Geometry in ZBrush CTRL + SHIFT and drag out a selection to select geometry to hide. Hope this make sense…there are tutorials in Z2 that show how to do this…i think under…selective mesh. You can also mask the part you want hidden, go to mask and invert, click on hide visible, then go to tools:geometry:delete hidden. now ctrl-shift drag off the model to show everything but the eyelids. Then ctrl-shift click on the eyelid group. ![]() Then i ctrl-shift click outside my model to bring it all together again to make sure I do not have parts included in that group that I want to save…rotate the model to be sure. When i get close to what I want…as in i think I have isolated just the eyelids i go to tools :polygroups and click group visible. Now ctrl-shift drag and let off the ctrl-shift keys first and the rectangle will be red…the red will remove from current view the parts you don’t want to delete. However there will also be parts other than the eyelids you want to save. ZBrush, however, doesnt make it quite so easy. ![]() You should see a green rectangle over those. Most software of any kind uses the hotkey ctrl + x to delete whatever is currently selected.
